Print a list of shortcut keys (Microsoft Word)

In previous tips I've often given you shortcut keys in order to quickly accomplish tasks you perform frequently.

Did you know ...

If you like the idea of pressing one or more keys on the keyboard rather than using your mouse to complete a task, you may find it helpful to print a list of all the shortcut key assignments in Word.

Here's how:
1. On the Tools menu, point to Macro, and then click Macros. 2. In the Macros in box, click Word commands. 3. In the Macro name box, click ListCommands. (To avoid having to scroll through the whole list type an "L" to quickly jump to those commands starting with the letter L.)
4. Click Run.
5. In the List Commands dialog box, click Current menu and keyboard settings.
6. On the File menu, click Print.

Please note that if you made changes to shortcut key assignments, the changes are included in the printed list of shortcut keys. Shortcut keys you assigned to macros are not included.

Until next week.
