Information Management
Workshop

Tuesday - Wednesday
12 - 13 October 2010

Information systems are an essential part of an organisation's infrastructure. ICT professionals who understand the technologies and systems and who can manage information resources are key to a modern organisation’s success. Today, most organisations have a lot of experience with projects to develop specific ICT solutions, but the development of an integrated information strategy and a corresponding information architecture has often hardly begun. This means, that investments in ICT are often not as effective as they could be. This course aims to introduce information management as the foundation for bespoke and cost-effective information services in your organisation.

The workshop will be led by one of Roem Limited's trusted associates - Martijn van der Kaaij - an experienced graduate consultant, project manager and lecturer, specializing in e-archiving, information management (IM), knowledge management (KM), business process management and implementation of workflow systems. He has gained insight in the practice of KM and IM in many organisations (government departments, libraries and archives). As a trainer in IM and KM Martijn has assisted many organisations to introduce Information Managment by giving them assignments so that they can take away and complete the work in their own organisations.
